The cataCXium® ligand family

Reactions with the cataCXium® ligand family

1. Heck Reaction
2. Suzuki Coupling
3. Negishi, Kumada, Sonogashira and Stille Couplings
4. Buchwald-Hartwig Amination (C-N Bond Formation)
5. C-O Bond Formation
6. Reductive Carbonylation

Your benefits:

  • Very easy handling since the ligands are air stable and non pyrophoric. This makes the cataCXium® A ligand group superior over tBu3P which ignites in air.
  • Reductive Carbonylation – the formation of aromatic aldehydes from bromo aromatics – is only possible with cataCXium A. This opens up a fantastic chemistry and can shorten many syntheses.
  • Use of cheap feedstock (chloro aromatics) in CX couplings since cataCXium® A can activate carbon chlorine bonds.
