Polyethylene
HDPE High density polyethylene: manufactured from ethylene at low pressure with Ziegler-Natta catalysts, Chromium catalysts (Phlipps type catalysts) or metallocenes.

Polypropylene
PP Polypropylene: manufactured from propylene with Ziegler-Natta catalysts; a critical parameter of the polymer is its tacticity (the relative stereochemistry of adjacent chiral centres within a macromolecule) which could be atactic, syndiotactic or isotactic.
