COMPIMIDE is the trade name for a broad range of bismaleimide resins (BMI resins) and associated products that have been developed for the production of high-performance composites.

Processing

The cure rate of COMPIMIDE Resins can be adjusted and tailored to suit processes such as autoclave molding, filament winding, resin transfer molding, pultrusion and injection/compression molding.

Composite Properties

• High-temperature performance
• Retention of mechanical properties up to 250 °C (482 °F)
• Excellent performance in hot/wet conditions
• Good solvent resistance
• Good flame and radiation resistance
• Low smoke and toxicant emissions
